Arc Raiders Guide To Strategy: Loadouts And Combat Tips

Bombardier Cells Arc Raiders Where do Elite Arcs spawn? Which weapons do you need to bring with you? How should you loot without causing harm? This buy arc raiders weapons guide provides all the answers.

Bombardier Cells is one of the most wanted items in Arc Raiders. These resources are essential for upgrading your base. Where are the Elite Bombardier ARs located, how can you defeat them, what do you need to do with your loot, etc.? Our detailed guide walks you step-by-step through everything.

Bombardier Cells are important: why buy arc raiders coins?

Bombardier Cells drop only from one enemy, the Elite ARC with the same names. These rare resources will be crucial to upgrading your refinery from level 2 to 3.

To upgrade you'll require:

6x Bombardier Cells

3x Motor

10x ARC Circuitry

Your refinery won't be able progress beyond level 2, and neither will you. If you're not using your cells for upgrades right now, there are two options for you: Sell them for 5,000 Credits or recycle the cell into 2xARC Alloys and 2xAdvanced Mechanical Components.

Bombardier Locations: Find out where you can find Bombardiers

In theory, bombardiers can appear on all maps. However the chances are very different. The Blue Gate and Buried Cities are where you'll have the best chance of finding Bombardiers. The following are key spawning areas in detail.

The first choice for Buried City

Buried City has one of the best Bombardier-spawning rates in the whole game. Check these spots first.

Marano Park appears to be the most frequent spawn point. It is almost guaranteed that you will encounter a Bombardier. This open park offers very little protection, so it's important to plan your escape routes.

Plaza Rosa Houses as well Santa Maria Houses make for reliable spawning areas. You have many cover options in the nearby apartment buildings.

Bombardiers tend to use the hospital exterior a little less, but the building layout makes this area interesting tactically.

The parking garage's upper level is a special situation: If a Bombardier shows up, you can eliminate it more efficiently by using the right strategies - see below for details.

Blue Gate – A solid Alternative

Bombardiers are often found at The Blue Gate as well, although the terrain here is more open.

Raider's Refuge sits in a moderately wooded forest. It is important to keep an eye out for players.

There are many hiding places in the industrial zones.

Bombardiers at checkpoints are usually spawned within a heavily fortified area. It's convenient, but can also be highly contested.

While the ruins along the cliff's edge provide great high-ground benefits, they can be difficult to access safely.

Spaceport - Medium odds

Bombardiers tend to spawn less at Spaceport compared to Buried City.

Between the buildings between the West Elevator is a spawn that offers decent cover.

Shipping Yard is a highly exposed area.

Dam Battlegrounds- rare, but still possible

Bombardiers spawn on the map north of Hydroponic Dome occasionally.

Our tip? Focus on Buried City. Marano Park is a must, as well as Plaza Rosa. Here you'll get the best odds and be able to rotate quickly between different spawn points.

It's all about preparation: the optimal loadout

Bombardier isn't your regular ARC. This enemy is one of the hardest to defeat in the whole game. But with the proper gear, you can do it all by yourself. Here's the gear you'll need:

Weapons are not negotiable: penetration of armor is non-negotiable

The bombardiers are heavily armored. Weapons without solid ARC armour penetration will barely scratch its health. Prioritize:

Hullcracker - if your budget allows it - is the top choice. It is one of the most powerful armor-piercing weapons in the game. Buy it at Tian Wen's for 15,000 credit per unit (maximum per day). Or craft it if your blueprint exists.

Ferro, the budget choice. It's easy to make at the weaponstack or on a workbench. Heavy Ammo is able to take out a Bombardier using 160 rounds.

The Anvil can be a good option for a middle ground. Tian Wen is selling up to three each day for 15,000 credit. It's more flexible, since it can fire up to six rounds rather than the Ferro single shot.

Rattler or Bettina will also do the job, but they are less efficient.

Heavy Ammo is made using chemicals and metal parts at the workbench.

Explosives are your most powerful tool

It's here that things heat up. Granades are absolutely necessary for Bombardier. The explosives can't get past their slow movement or large hitbox. Bring at minimum six grenades.

These grenades cause devastating damage. The placement of a few Wolfpacks is enough to take out a Bombardier.

Trigger grenades deliver precise and powerful results. You can find the recipe in the "Sparks Fly Quest". The advantage is that you can detonate the bombs manually after placing them.

Blaze-grenades are used to inflame the Bombardier. It can be found in constant flames, taking damage.

Snap grenades do more damage and are easier to use. All-rounder.

Use 1-2 Wolfpacks in combination with 3-4 Snap or Trigger grenades. It is enough to make the Bombardier softer before you switch weapons.

How to get support and healing after a battle

The bombardier projectiles can be very accurate and powerful. Your run will be over in no time if you are not able to heal enough. Pack the following.

You should always have 10x Shield rechargers on hand. Bombardiers are able to break shields with just one strike. So you will need many backups.

10x Bandages (or 6x Sterilized Bandages) keep your health up. Vita Shots do the same thing, but cost more.

3-4 Adrenaline shots will completely restore your stamina while boosting regeneration. When you need to leave your cover or chain more dodge rolls.

3x Smoke Grenades Are Essential for Looting After the Kill. You will need to take your time searching for the various parts. The smoke keeps you protected from other players.

Gear: The Right Augment and Shield

Looting MK.2 enhance is a mandatory purchase. It provides two safe pockets each holding a three-cell stack. If you die, the items will still be there.

At least a medium shield should be used. Light shields will only take a single Bombardier attack; medium shields, two or three. Tactical MK.2 also comes in handy, because it throws a Smoke Grenade automatically when your Shield breaks.

For solo players, we recommend that you begin the raid by placing two Wolfpacks safely in your pocket. The only time you should pull them from your safe pocket is when you're actually engaged with a Bombardier. Then you won't be able to lose them in case you die during the run.
