Experimentation Without Consequences: Any progress made on Diablo 4 Gold the PTR—including imported characters or boosted gear—does not carry over to the main game. This allows players to experiment freely without worrying about permanent impact on their live characters.

How to Participate

Getting onto the PTR is straightforward but requires careful preparation:

Download the PTR Client: From the Battle.net launcher, select the PTR option. Remember, this is a completely separate installation from your main game.

Import Characters: If you wish to test using your existing characters, import them first. Failure to do this before using the boost vendor can result in lost progress.

Use the Boost Vendor: Known as Morac in-game, the boost vendor allows you to instantly level your character and acquire endgame gear to test new content. You can either start from scratch to experience new leveling mechanics or jump straight into endgame challenges.

Submit Feedback: Feedback can be submitted directly in-game via the Escape menu, or on D4 Gold for sale the official Diablo forums. For more structured discussions, players can join Discord channels dedicated to PTR feedback.
