Course description


It is only possible to move into a subsidised flat under particular conditions. Therefore, an application for registration need to be submitted to the Office for Housing and Migration.


As part of the processing of your application, the specific room requirement (concept: 1 room per individual, a different living room is not supplied) and the urgency of the housing search will be determined. Processing time


We process all applications one after the other. Due to the large number of applications received, processing times can regrettably take around 6 months. You can view the processing status of your application on SOWON( under "Applications"). Therefore, please avoid checking the processing status in the meantime. We will process your application as quickly as possible.


Please send a repeat application in great time to ensure that registration is as smooth as possible.


Fees and charges


No fees are charged for processing the application. If a flat is effectively discovered, a confirmation charge of 25 euros will be charged.
