u4gm ARC Raiders Bird Trap Tips for Riven Tides

Find the ARC Raiders bird trap on Riven Tides, near Port Authority's red buoy, and see every Avian Alarm stage, material turn-in, reward, and farming tip.

Drop into Seabed after the Riven Tides patch and you'll notice the Avian Alarm project isn't the usual “feed the menu and leave” routine. It pushes you out onto the new map almost straight away, which is fun until you're lost, low on ammo, and trying to remember what “next to the buoys” is meant to mean. If you're sorting your stash first, stuff like ARC Raiders Uncommon Material can matter later, but the first job is much more hands-on: get to the right spot, place the trap, and get out alive.

Where to place the bird trap

The trap location sits in the northwest part of Seabed, not tucked away in some random corner. Use the Port Authority Building as your main point of reference. Once you're there, push out toward the dry seabed near the sea wall and angle northeast in the direction of Wavebreaker. What you're looking for is a huge red buoy jammed into the sand. It's ugly, bright, and honestly pretty hard to miss once you're close. You don't need to bring a crafted trap either, so don't waste time searching your inventory. Walk up to the project marker near the buoy and use the interaction prompt.

Extraction still matters

A lot of players mess this part up because they treat the interaction as the finish line. It isn't. After you place the trap, the task only really sticks if you extract successfully. That means you should stop acting like a loot goblin for five minutes. Check your route, listen for ARC movement, and don't start a fight you can't end. If the area feels busy, take the ugly path around the edge instead of sprinting through the middle. It's not glamorous, but walking out with progress beats dying with a backpack full of junk.

The ship model chase

Once the trap step is done and you've picked up the Dockmaster's Detector, Avian Alarm turns into a proper scavenger hunt. The early requirements are manageable, with items like Tick Pods and the green Twilight Compass Ship Models showing up often enough if you keep looting. After that, the project starts asking for rarer pieces. You'll need blue Velocity models, then purple Sirena Dorata models, and later the legendary Leviathan's Crown. If you find one of those higher-tier models, don't get greedy. Mark the nearest extract and leave. Everyone says they'll just check one more container, and that's usually when a run falls apart.

Fighting ARC for parts

The project doesn't let you avoid combat forever. At some point you'll need Comet Igniters, Vaporizer Regulators, and Turbine Compressors. Comets and Vaporizers are annoying, but Turbines are where things can get rough fast, especially solo. Bring a teammate if you can, or at least bring enough gear to break contact when the fight goes bad. Pinning the project helps a lot here, since you can see what counts while you're still in the raid. It saves that awful moment where you extract and realise you picked up the wrong part.

Make the rewards worth the risk

Avian Alarm can feel fussy, but the payout gives you more than a checklist tick. The Bird House backpack attachment, Gel Patches face style, and Raider Tokens make it worth pushing through, especially if you like cosmetics that show you actually played the event. If you're short on time or trying to keep your runs efficient, players often compare routes, item needs, and market options through services such as U4GM, which is known for game currency and item support. Still, in-raid habits matter most: grab the rare piece, skip the extra detour, and extract before the map decides to punish you.
