Aion 2 Sanctuary runs become much easier to manage when players stop treating preparation as a simple gear check. A group can have strong characters and still struggle if everyone enters a boss fight with the wrong skills, poor role assignments, or an uneven team split. Preparing Aion 2 Items alongside Stigma choices and build presets gives players more flexibility when the run becomes difficult.
For many players, Aion 2 Items are only one part of Sanctuary preparation. The more important question is whether the entire team is ready for the mechanics ahead. Global servers use a 10-player Sanctuary format, and Elyos and Asmodian players can group together. This gives raid leaders more options when building around damage, sustain, movement, and utility.
Why Presets Matter in Sanctuary
A player may spend most of a Sanctuary run clearing ordinary enemies, where AoE damage and mobility are useful. That setup can feel comfortable during trash pulls but become less effective when a boss demands stronger single-target damage or better defensive tools.
Keeping two basic presets is a practical solution.
A trash-focused preset can prioritize AoE damage, mobility, and passive sustain. This allows the group to move through normal rooms efficiently without spending too many resources.
A boss-focused preset can shift toward single-target damage, defensive cooldowns, and crowd control. Players can switch to this setup before a major encounter instead of trying to change their whole character.
This makes preset management one of the simplest forms of force swapping available to Sanctuary teams.
Managing Two Five-Player Groups
The global 10-player format also changes how raid leaders should organize their teams. More players provide additional flexibility, but some Sanctuary mechanics still divide the raid into smaller groups.
Spirit Cleanse mechanics can require the ten players to split into two five-player teams and move in opposite directions. One side may travel clockwise while the other moves counter-clockwise.
When this happens, the leader should evaluate both groups separately. It is not enough for the full raid to have sufficient healing and damage. Each five-player team needs enough sustain, AoE capability, and utility to handle its own section of the encounter.
Cross-faction grouping adds another useful option. Elyos and Asmodian players can participate in the same global group, so leaders have more freedom when looking for a particular combination of roles or utility.
Preparing for Ludra Mechanics
Ludra-style mechanics show why assignments should be decided before combat starts. When a bleeding debuff has to be intercepted and passed between players, the group cannot afford to spend several seconds deciding who should react.
A predetermined rotation makes the mechanic easier to manage. Healers and highly mobile classes can be given responsibilities that require more movement, while other players can remain focused on damage or defensive duties.
The exact rotation can depend on the team's composition, but the important point is that everyone should understand their assignment before the boss is pulled.
This preparation also makes failed attempts easier to analyze. If one player consistently struggles with a movement assignment, the leader can move that responsibility to another player instead of repeatedly running the same setup.
Handling Devouring Clawfly
Devouring Clawfly provides another example of why specific assignments matter. When players receive numbered responsibilities for environmental mechanics, the raid leader should consider durability and movement ability before assigning each position.
Players in the first positions may need to move directly into environmental piles and clear them with jump-based AoE actions. These responsibilities are better suited to players who can reach the required locations quickly and survive the mechanic.
A flexible backup player is also useful. If one of the assigned players dies or misses the mechanic, the backup can immediately take over instead of leaving the group to improvise.
This type of preparation may seem minor, but it can prevent one mistake from turning into a full wipe.
Making Swaps Before the Pull
The main idea behind Sanctuary force swapping is not to constantly change everything. It is about making a few targeted adjustments when the encounter requires them.
Before starting a difficult boss, the leader can quickly check the two five-player groups, active presets, Stigma choices, defensive skills, and mechanical assignments. Players who are preparing their inventory and considering cheap Aion 2 Items should also make sure those resources fit the actual build and encounter rather than simply adding more items without a clear purpose.
